Ooh, I love those :) Very shiny shoes! Absolutely fabulous - tall ladies in high heeled shoes rock! |

*** Critique Club ***
First impression: Fits nicely with your title.
Composition: Good choice of perspective. Gives the impression of platform shoes and disco. The objects are well placed within the frame.
Exposure: The image does not feel balanced as parts of the main objects are in shadow and some areas are too bright. I think this would probably work better if the exposure were more even over the shoe and glitter ball.
Impact: This image has kind of an 'in your face' effect. (to me that's not a good thing) The bright blue colour probably has something to do with that. A different white balance may have helped to get the colour you wanted.
Remember, this is just one opinion.

i think the blue colours have been pushed to much, and blown out a little. nice set up with the shoe and ball, very 70's |

Color is AWESOME. I like the softer focus although I do agree that a different bottom fabric might have been better. Composition is nice and I love the background. Really great image overall. |

This is really interesting. I like how the black backround really brings out the blue spots. I would've given it a 7. I think you deserved a MUCH higher score. |

I like the setup, except for the towel or rug -- kind of needs a shiny floor for disco. I like the blue color too, and I remember that often there was a single color used for light. I really like he reflections on the back drop. Focus not quite sharp enough. My camera doesn't focus well in low light, and maybe that's the same for yours. |

Oh God, please don't bring the disco era back! Nice idea but the focus could be just a touch sharper. Great color for the idea though. |

I won't penalize you for the fact that the moment I saw your image, I got a "greatest 70's hits" track on loop running through my head. :) Nice lighting brings out the sheen of the shoe fabric, would have liked to see less shadow in the top of the image. |

I get that you were trying to have a strong color for disco but for me I'd rather see lots of different colors. Seems there is a weird cast around the shoe, lacks derail and the... carpet? whatever it is on the ground I find distracting. |

I think this would have been cool as a black & white |

Probably the idea is very good, it remember me "autoerotica" of helmut newton (I have an image with that title). I liken't the realization, too blue. perhaps including even other colours in the image was most "disco" |
