I like the subject very much - you show the patina of the surface really well. Like the DOF used to throw out the fence and background, yet keep the colours and forms of the fence intact to add interest. 7, Kavey |

When flipping through the thumbnails, this is one of the image that pops out at me. I love the blurred background, effective cropping overall and particularly at the top of the head. Pleasing color scheme; good natural lighting. Since the image was obviously taken outdoors in natural light, there is the green color cast of the background trees. Am not saying that is desirable but here it happens to add move live to the character and image. 8 Journey |

Adorable. I like the ones like this of the pooh characters too. At first I was wondering if we could get a side view so we could see the crickets face as well, but then I think it might have lost some of the smile on pinochio's face, so I think I like it just how it is. Great job of keeping excessive glare and reflection off him. This really looks nice and portrays a childhood feeling perfectly. Good luck in the challenge. |

That's a great shot. I think the fence in the backgrond is a little too much visible but .... focus is great, colors are very nice and I like the framing of pinochio. Hesitating between 7 and 8. Will adjust during the week but ... 7 or 8. Great job ! |

This is a lovely photo :) I would like it even better if the background was slightly less distracting. The depth of field blurs the background nicely, but there are still some contrasts there that make the image seem a little busy overall... still scores well :) = 8 - jmsetzler |

I like the shot, but it seems a tiny tiny bit blurry. |

Nice close up. It might have been nice to see a little more of Jimmy, I almost missed him (your title helped there). Not too crazy about the crop job, esp. mickie's left wrist, his head and Jimmy's nether regions. 7 Swash |
