Very nice picture...I really like the lighting. However, without the title, I had no idea how this fit the challenge. - 5
*Update* - It's not your fault I can't read what the sign says. The smell of a bakery DOES fit the challenge. Bumping to a 10. I really like this photo. |

Since I don't know french, I wouldn't have known by looking at this that this is a bakery. I'm assuming "Boulangerie" means bakery or something similar. I'm glad your title mentioned bread because I probably would've scored this as a 7 for possibly "not meeting the challenge" as a building doesn't really tell me anything about scents. :-) Instead, I gave this a 10. This has a very nice feel to it. Love that this is a night-time shot. The glowing trees and well lit sign work well. Love the curvy railing too. Super job. ;-) |

Bakeries were one of my thoughts for this too: that yeast smell first thing in the morning :-) Can't decide between liking and not liking the perspective distortion in this image though: it gives the right feeling of closeness, but also the wrong feeling of oddness. |

There is nothing like the smell of a bakery early in the morning. I used to drop off a girlfriend next to one when she got to work, the smell of the bakery nextdoors was worth getting up early. Wonderful low light capture, gets me into the december mood.
Lots of angles and lines, lights and darks. Entertaining to the eye. Good job. |

I would probably appreciate it more if I had been there. On my monitor the three trees on the left are blown out. |

Very nice picture. You have to get there to really appreciate the incredible smell of the fresh bread ... and the wonderful atmosphere of St-Sauver I think. Very well done. |

Attractive light and color. The wrought iron rail is also a nice touch. I do smell fresh bread. :) Nice going good luck. |
