| I really like this image and idea for the challenge. I only wish it was on a darker background so the whites of the candy didn't get washed out. I love the sprig of peppermint also. Excellent composition. |

| Clean, simple, nice diagonal, great colors, and sharp. Although this is a relatively simple image it is well done right down to the crushed pieces and leaf. I gave this a 10. Nice work. |

| Nice shot. Great use of light in the studio. Love the touch of the peppermint leaves. Seasonal colors. Nice DOF. Small red border helps frame the image so the white doesn't overpower it to much. 8 |

| Good idea. Peppermint is a good aroma to capture. The crushed pieces and peppermint leaf (if indeed that is what it is) support the challenge perfect. |

| Good on the subject of the challenge. I think the only difference I might make is to have a backgound with little more contrast or perhaps change the angle of the light so the shadows are more pronounced. Good shot. |

| Fantastic colour combination. Not impressed by the extreme amount of noise in the shadow under the candycane, and there is a blue tinge to the whole picture (manual white balance is your friend!) - oterwise great work! (8) |

| Good, contrasting colors. I like this shot and like the white background. I would only criticize the the focus and the lighting on the mint. They are minor issues as I find this very appealing. |

| A very nice arrangement with the candy cane, broken candy and mint leaf to underscore the smell and the seasonal aspect of this shot. It would make a nice card. |
