 I for sure was not going to send this in. I had to take a shot for my WPL team, the Icebreakers a this was the plan.

Plan A) quit early and do some fun photo image outside - But I had to work 4 hours longer than I hoped for.

Plan B) Go to a church and put my model in priest clothes at the altar, talking on the phone - but we didn't find any open church

Plan C) take a studio shot with a REALLY old mobile phone from my dad - But the phone was in his car, few hours away.

Plan D) Drive around the city and photograph ANYTHING with more than one light, just to be a part of this all - But my car broke down


This was the only thing coming close to looking like a photo contest entry, but I would never had sent it if it wasn't for the team. I guess a 4.0 is better than nothing....

DPC voters got no honor and taste by voting this pic so high, this is obliviously one of the worst pictures that i have seen from Oskar

Sometimes we do have taste! Really, there are an awful lot of shots here that are reflections, or lots of lights. You put together really pretty lights, colorful buildings, and a reflection that compliments instead of distracts. This is a great image and you should be proud of it.

PEOPLE

You are letting me so down. This result is making me lose all faith in DPC voters, do you have no taste at ALL !

For all the images that ended up behind me, sorry, you all should have outscored this one.

I really don't get it, Im superhappy to get a score like this, dont get me wrong, but really, is it enough to have few lights and a lot of colour to impress people so much.

Well, it will take me few more years I think to totally understand this, but in the meantime, thanks alot everyone, I am now really determined to outscore this image to get off my profile start up page :)

Ugh another of my top 3....I can't make any decisions. I love this though....three of my favorite things in one picture.

1. Great city shot.
2. Lots of bright color.
3. Reflection in water.

I love how the light almost make a rainbow across, this photo makes me want to visit this little town.

Could be nice but the water looks a bit scrappy to me - might benefit from a healing brush or longer exposure, perhaps.

You get extra points from me for being one of the only shots I've seen of "a reflection where the reflection is not faded at all" that I like.

It appears to me that the photo is just slightly off level and I find myself trying to mentally measure each side. I guess what I am trying to say is that it is distracting. Once I get past that, I really like it.
