 After an afternoon of taking pictures by the sea, my face and hands were tasting salty which made me think of submitting this picture for the challenge. Anyway, I was unhappy with the noise created by iso 200 and tried to remove it with multiple despeckle in photoshop. I hope that people will understand why this pictures represents scents and aromas to me.

I think I may have liked this more in color. Seems to be a tad bit noisy. Nice though.

It relies too much on the title to evoke the idea of scent/aroma.

Nice seascape. I like all the action that is going on here in a kind of lightened dark mood. It seems like a bad day at the beach, rough sea, strong wind...... Yet a bright sky, possibly some light in the darkness. O yes, it certainly does smell of salt and sea on those days.

Difficult to comment. I do pick up on the whole smell of the sea thing and I do think that you were going for some sort of mood and perhaps a bit of the sea spray action. Perhaps that's where the photograph is - the right half of the picture?

Nice composition, but I feel the cold more than I smell the salt water. I think in color would have worked best for this one. It's a nice shot though
