Piper

This is Piper, who lives with her family across the road, I approached her mother about the shoot who said it would be great, bringing her over for the shoot, her mother Nell said she would like the natural hair out of place look, as this was Piper.

Made minor adjustments in raw-crop

The skin action seems to have softened the image giving it a too soft look, and the commenters are right, thank you all for your input.

A delightful pose of a lovely young lady. I think with young children, the skin action may be overkill, because they already have perfectly smooth and beautiful skin to begin with. Have you tried processing it again without that action? It really is a nice shot to begin with.

Just a tad too soft, feels out of focus to me. Great eyes, though.

Cute portrait. Focus could be sharper and cropping seems a bit tight.

cropped a little tight, and really soft in the focus - is that jpeg artifacting too? really cute model, love the catch lights in her eyes

Feels either very over-sharpened or out of focus, but if you could fix that I'd bet this photo wouldn't be all that bad! :)

It's a little soft. Try a faster shutter speed. Also, the highlights in her eyes are distracting. Get the light source up and away from the camera.

Good Luck.

proper focus would have really helped this picture so how pretty the little girl is.
