Should have been a ribbon IMO. It's a truly wonderful shot...

Steven, this is SO awesome! I could look at it all day! Everything about it is truly perfect! Even tho 6.2 is a good score, I'm disappointed that this one isn't in the high 6's.

this a very peaceful image, but its sort of blurry, it might be because of the grain, so next time use a little less grain and focus in more!

Bumping from 7 to 8. Interesting optical illusion with the horse - keep double-checking to make sure it isn't real.

Reminds me of the Ted Hughes poem "The Horses" - could be the illustration for it. Striking image.

Excellent shot. The composition is great. This picture could stand well on its own but the grain gives it a nice perspective.

Great use of grain: not excessive and it has an attractive quality. Please let us know in the photograph description what technique you used for the grain, I am interested in looking back at the entries after the challenge and finding out what techniques provide attractive grain vs. ugly, noisy digital-looking patterns.

The brightness of the saddle makes the horse look like it's cut in half.
Nice work, the grain adds something to this,
