Oh Laurie!!!! This photo was yours??? It's one of my favorite photos of all time! I know 6.4 is a good score -- but I'm crushed that this one didn't win a ribbon and earn a score in the 7's! If you made a print of this, I would buy it -- seriously -- (why don't you do that)?????? Not only would I then have an original from my friend, but I would be proud to own one of my favorite photos EVER!!!!!

| Beautifully composed; and the browns and whites (lines, masses, textures)work really well. (Not sure I agree with posthumous, but it would be interesting to see it without grain). |

| Very nice grain, it is very natural looking, unlike the noise in a lot of the other images. I like the muted colors. |

| The potential is there, nice shot. There is something that doesn't realy work in the composition of the picture, is it to cropped, would it bean better with a little bit of "air" on the right side of the horse? The main object is dead center in the picture, rule of thirds might have helped. |

| I really like the lighting and soft tones on this entry. The noise adds so much nice softness to the image. The only thing that is a very slight issue to me is the noise seems to have some green and pink in it. This is especially noticable on the horses neck. |

| Ohmy. ..this photo is AWESOME!! From what I've seen so far, if this doesn't win a blue ribbon, then it is a great injustice! The subject. The composition. The processing. Everything is flawlessly perfect. And it is a photo that is truly enhanced by the grainy effect! This one's going straight to my favorites too! 10 |
