I learned 2 things from this challenge:

1. I can now tie a tie. (Thanks, P for sending me the website! ;o)
2. I hate ironing men's dress shirts!

All in all I'm happy with the way the shoot came out and I had a lot of fun with it. Lit with one bare strobe at a 45 degree angle to the model.

PP: Slight crop, cloned out some sensor dust (after triple-checking the basic editing rules!), levels, curves, brightness/contrast.

Nice lighting! Great finish. I think the soft focus works great with this shot.

Congrats on a top ten, personal best, and a great image, Jacqui! Well done. That shirt does look sharp! Mind if I send some to you for pressing? ;-P

I always knew men's shirts could be very sexy on a woman.

bit too predictable, but extra points for boobs

Quite a striking photo. I may have prefered a slightly softer colouring (less saturation) and maybe a tighter crop as something about the composition seems to be slightly off.

There are some clarity issues in this otherwise top-notch photo. Something hinders the crisp, clean image I long to see. Maybe too low on the aperature, or maybe flourescent lights...I'm not sure. Her face just seems to lack focus. Still a fantastic pose, attractive model, good light, nice colors, and great coordination with the mood setting. Overall in my top 10, even with the lack of focus.

The focus near her head falls off, and that significantly hurts the photograph. Nonetheless, it's a good effort that mostly works.

Why don't people iron thier backgrounds? there is a fold line right in front of the face and my eye is drawn to it. Otherwise I like the shot. 7

I see a little skin there. Very attractive to the eye. That's the first thing I saw, then again after all I'm a guy. Next thing that I wondered about was the background. How or where did you take this picture. I would like to know how you got the background black like that.

Nice shot. Did you consider using a hair light? I think I would also prefer a straight-on composition.
