| I bet the kid in the background is sure glad he listened to his parents and is holding their hand. He's probably thinking, "Damn, they were right. I will get arrested if I let go!" |

| I love everything about this photo, and I too prefer it over the B&W. By blurring the background, and changing the color of the girl in the background, you kept the focus on the girl and the cop. You really do need to forward a copy to the NYPD, I am sure they can get a copy to the squad and the officer in the photo. |

This is an amazing photograph - to capture something like this with such clarity is admirable. I definitely like the all-color version the best. The blue of the officer's uniform really works with the emerald green above it, then accented subtly by the sliver of yellow.
