Wonderful photograph. Everything about it exudes fun, spontaneity and charm. The grain just added that much more. Congrats on the top 20 finish! |

This has a great old time movie feel to it. The man almost looks like Dean Martin or Jerry Lewis. The expression on the people's faces really makes this shot great.
The black and white conversion is quite suitable for this picture.
The shallow DOF works well as it appears that the background would have been distracting had it been sharp at all.
Challenge: The level of noise is good here. A lot (including my own sadly) went over board with the noise. This is the perfect level. Enough to give it an "old feel" to it but not so much that it diminishes the quality of the image. |

what a terrific candid. classic exuberance. brings back the 1930's and I wasn't even alive then. The grain is perfect for this, I think. It kind of blocks me from thinking I'm in their intimate space. 9 |

Brilliant style: Very "Kennedy's" - so well suited to the classic grain. |

Wonderful image -love the expressions and the choice of processing. This could easily be a hollywood movie set from the 1950's. Great job 9 |
