Thanks (except for you cretins with the 1 - 3 votes. I can hear you whining now, "But the sky isn't pitch black..." Try photography sometime). The rest of you are spot on w/r/t the straightness of the building. There was a cab parked in the place I should have shot from, and the combination of perspective distortion from tilting the camera to get the whole bldg in frame and barrel distortion from using the wide end of the zoom made for some pretty funky verticals and horizontals. Could be fixed in photoshop, but that's not allowed. Your comments are greatly appreciated.

this one could be more lined up-line up the horizontals with the horizon, and the center of the 'stars' with the center of the tower; good light and color

Cool.

Very nicely done, beautiful photo. Good composition and the focus and exposure really bring out the colors and details. My only critique is that the building/horizon line is not straight, which detracts, but only upon closer inspection of the photo. like the way the bottom and top of the building is nicely balance around the center of the picture without being in exact center of the photo. My eye follows the picture from the bottom to top and takes in the whole photo with effort at all. Good job.

I have a fast computer but a really slow dialup.
Watching the lights come on in succession while it downloads is neat. GREAT JOB ! ! ! !

The tilt of the camera is slightly distracting, but very good subject.
