if this hadn't been submitted to the crossdressing challenge, I would have really liked this photo - good grain and not too contrasty, but I'm not getting the crossdressing element to this photo - it just looks like avril lavigne, or any of the millions of the high school girls that try and imitate her

Nope...and here's why: the lips are too seductive, I'd like to see the eyes, given I know it probably a lovely female... but you don't let me and the men's clothing seems more like a tease, a college fad or even a rock star whose sensuality is so overwhelming that men's clothing makes her even more alluring - BUT WAIT!!! It meets the Challenge 100% LOL ---> 10 Very creative!

I am sorry, I see a girl. Since it is more common for women to crossdress IRL, you will have to exagerate more to convince.

to much contrast. no detail in the blacks. I understand how that could be desired in the eyes, but the hat needs detail. The whites are very grey, nothing at that magic 145 white with detail number.

i think you have an advantage here coz girls look ok/nice or good in mens clothing but imagive a man in a red gown- lol - very nice composition and pose tho 8
