Are you from Oklahoma? My grandparents were born in Poteau before Oklahoma became a state. I still have an old clock similar to yours that I inherited from them. I should try to take pictures of it. I really like what you have done with yours--it is a stunning image!

Well, I have but one thing to say...I hate paper clips...LOL. I didn't "see" the paper clip till it was too late...I have been around this clock since childhood (it was my Grandfathers and now is my dads) and I guess I had tunnel vision...I see it all the time so...live and...pay more attention!! LOL. Thanks for the comments and considering the score thanks for the votes!!! I have posted a NO CLIP version in my portfolio if you want to check it out...Thanks!!!!

Paper clip?? To keep the hands from flying off the face? Intriguing shot.

"In the north sky time flies faster than morning
The cold of the dawn it meant nothing to us
You were keeping your best situation
An answer to Yes "

Love that song

Pretty colors, interesting clock. I think it would look more balanced if roughly equal amounts of the clock were cropped off the top and the sides.

Nice mood and coloration. I can't decide whether the paper clips hurts or helps ;-)

A lot of interesting timepieces in this challenge. Yours is one of them. The use of motion blur is particularly nice. The eye is drawn to the paperclip securing the clock's hands. Unfortunenately it and a few other places in the composition suffer from digital "jaggies" that act as a distraction in this fine composition.
