Our kitchen temporarily got turned into a studio, we had bits of cardboard stuck to the walls as a background, a large piece of black cloth was draped over the radiator to disguise it, and one of my flatmates was holding a piece of cardboard over a large stand-up lamp to diffuse the light from above. The bits of cardboard weren't big enough and kept falling down, the lighting possibilities were somewhat limited, the kitchen table kept getting in the way - all things considered, I'm delighted with this shot! It was all quite entertaining really.
Editing: brightness/contrast, hue/sat, channel mixer adjustment layer (switched to monochrome, reduce red channel to 0% and increase green channel to 100%, reduce layer opacity to 52%), usm, neat image, add white border, resize.
