Taken today in Bawburgh. Had a polarizing filter on, but I'm not sure how much that did for this shot.

Looking forward to working on the edit of this one! For now, just resized and saved for web.

How nice that you got two of them cuddled together like that. Can't wait to see the edit!

It does look like they're dancing. Can't wait to see this processes with maybe a different color water. Beautiful!

The interaction between the swans is great- there is a sense of intimacy here that draws the viewer in. On shots with sun on white, you might want to consider underexposing by one or two stops if you don't have an external light meter - it's a lot easier to brighten some areas if needed than draw detail out of blown highlights. Will be interested to see your post on this.

the highlights are quite a bit blown out, using the shadow/highlight adjustment in Photoshop could save some detail. I really like the interaction of them though.

rob ... great bird shot .. love that foot sticking out!!! .. their postures are excellent and love that negative space created by their necks ... i'll be interested to see what direction you take in the processing, coz there'd be so many ways you could go ......
do you know about the post processing site? ... here's the link .. Post Processing Challenge link its where someone puts in a photograph and other ppl edit it and get scored on it .. started by jeff smurfguy i think ..

Very pretty. Gotta disagree with Redjulep though, the whites are a bit blown in spots. Not enough to ruin the photo though.

That's beautiful, Rob. The swans' interaction is a fantastic capture - also the whitewhite plumage with no blowout. Great job.

What a lovely capture - I like the "dance" they seem to be doing. So very graceful! And yes, this has excellent editing possibilities - it's a good picture to start with.

Oh my goodness! I love swans :) This is a lovely shot. Your swans are so white and their heads are so perfectly crisp and colourful it makes me feel like I could touch em :)
