Greetings from the Critique Club!
This image is extremely well thought out. The idea took lots of planning, and it was very well executed.
I think I agree with the comment below about the background - it could have been a bit lighter to contrast with the egg. Also, you could have used an eye with a brighter color. Then, you would also have a nice contrast between the colored part of the eye and the pupil inside.
The lighting and composition of this shot are great, as is the focus and depth of field. Great job!

| Okay, that's seriously disturbing. In the good way. I would definitely find that a surprising thing to be facing! Nice trick of photography - the softness of the 'eye' works well here. |

| Highest quality and most interesting shot of the challenge. I'm looking forward to finding out how you created the \"eye-ball\". The lighting and perspective work especially well in this shot. The darkened background makes the inside of the egg really pop - yet has a rich property, not just dim and dark. Well done. 9 |

| haha Now I like this one, I only wish that the bowl looked more pleasant. The egg and the eye look GREAT, so sharp and lovely colors. But the bowl is not visually attractive and its throwing me off. A crystal bowl, or perhaps a white bowl would look good. Its the color of it now that I don't like. |

I'm betting that is a prind out of an eye that you put insdie a hard boiled egg? Otherwise I can't see how you did this.
And yes, that would be ashock to open my egg and find it looking back at me, LOL. I like the idea but the setting is wanting, the tan plate, brown egg are all a bit dull overall. Maybe a brighter plate? An 8 |

| Eeeuw! Definite shock value and I like the use of the inside rim of the plate to provide compositional balance, and the plate surface, to provide texture. |

| Ewwww, too gross for words! Great idea, very clever indeed. Being off set rather than central works well also. |
