 Brush fire in Spartanburg, SC - Mar 3,2007. I estimate somewhere between 40 and 100 acres were burned. No idea how it started or if anyone was hurt. I can say it appears to have started near an abandoned house and the wind took it from there. Fire lasted for about 2 hours.

I actually did several things to this image that I don't normally do. I like keeping things simple. This begged for more...

crop, shadow/highlight, sharpen, crop again, resize, dupe layer, gradient map, change opacity to 49%, shadow/highlight again, neat image.

The fog is really awesome here - and the composition is good, but the colors are a little too far off for me. Neat shot though!

Right then, joke's on me as I now have to plough through 564 images and bump them all (yes, all of them) up. There'll be a third run through for fine tuning. It's day two three now and I'm running late, sorry.
