I used my loving mother as the model. It was going to be me, but she kept bringing up herself, so I let her be the model. Afterall, her favorite color is red! :D

I think I would have liked the hand to wrap around the rose a little more but otherwise well shot!

great tonality. the ring and the leaves, the terry cloth and petals... well done. for critique...the hand seems overly posed rather than naturally holding the blossom and I find the lipstick is a little bright

I like the composition, and it's very well focused (maybe a little oversharpened). Very well balanced lighting also. Couple of things distracting for me are the positioning of her hand (seems very posed and unnatural) and the fingernails could be neater (??? sorry, not a manicurist - don't know the term, just see it as a distraction). Good luck in the challenge.

I really like this image. Only thing I would suggest would be to change the pose of the hands. Looks unnatural how it is here. Looks too much like the hand is in this unnatural position just to show the fingernails. The contrasting reds here and the subject matter are really excellent.

Lovely portrait, though I think it might be even nicer without the hand (the hand looks very posed, while the rest of the photo has a natural flow to it).

I don't know if it was intentional - and no disrespect if it wasn't - but I really like how the splotchy nail polish fits in with the title of 'Aging.' IMO I think a more wrinkly/age spotted hand would have looked better and an older/wrinkly face to give it that real aging look. Still, nicely done = 7.

Very unique for this challenge. There is emotion and the photo tells a story. This is what a good photo should try and do! Your lighting, focus and composition are all wonderful! Great job!

Nice composition. The only small thing I comment is the "unnatural" position of the hand.. It seems there to show the nail's colors instead to caress the roses

This technically is a very good photo. I love the touch of using dried out roses and the fact that you let the model be natural except for the red lips and red finger nail polish. The composition and lighting is very good. I hope this does well. You should be very proud of your photo. You didn't use the typical pretty girl and you didn't use the typical flower.
