self portrait. I actually quite like this one, a lot of editing, but it was fun to do. A different, more muted color scheme than I usually do, but I think it works. BTW, my eyes are green, but they're not THAT green :)
I was taking this for the hate challenge and making it look like my eyes were red with the color camera feature. Yeah, it only made my eyes look brown, but my face looked really cool (IMO). So I just replaced the eye color, sharpened a whole bunch, messed with color, contrast, curves...the whole sha-bang! Also gave myself a nose job with IWarp becuase apparently I got puched one too many times in karate class, so it's a little crroked. Probably one of my fav self portraits and probably the only one where I'm looking straight into the camera as opposed to 2/3 of my face.
The hardest part of this was actually the border and I'm STILL not happy with it...oh well, hope ya like it :)
Great shot, love these types of portraits and I've tried one like this before with myself. Very similair composition, just the face, nothing else. Not many people could do portraits like this, you need to have those old soul eyes, nicely done.
I really enjoy this shot. I took a look through your entire portfolio and this one jumps out at me the most. Don't get me wrong, you have some very nice work but this one just pops, even from the thumbnail. The bold expression works well with you staring straight into the camera. The tones work very well to complement the eyes and hair. There are a few spots where the editing seems a little sketchy, like the skin is just a little to smooth. Hair seems to be coming out of no where on the top right hand side as well. All minor details though on an overall outstanding shot. Keep up the good work.
