I love when you expect a 4.8 and get a 6.5. Granted, that has never happened to me, but I'm betting I'd love it... :-) |

Maybe a Curtins Challenge would make some justice to this beautiful shot. This is one of the best photos of the last weeks. Congrats Crystal! |

Wow! What a beautiful photo! I didn't get to this one in the voting, but I think I would have given it a deserving 10! I'm sorry this didn't get more recognition! Although top 15 and 6.57 isn't bad. It's just that to me, this looks like it ought to be one of the winners!

Wonderful! I think it exceeded 4.8 quite handily and should have been even higher. Note the commenters' score. Nice work as always. |

congratulations on a fantastic place and an excellent photograph .. absolutely love it ... just love the dark and moody feel .. love the curtain blowing out and the girl sitting there with not a lot of her actually showing coz of the dark ... love how you've composed your shot and the contrasts and colouring work so well ....... |

Yeah, 4.8. Riiiiight. You are SO good at the somber, emotive shots, Crystal. Congrats on the score and the top 20! :) |

lots of editing and composition feels slightly off balance but the strong contrast and rich hues help. 8 |

love the composition here, the sweep of the curtain draping over the figure in the chair. Wonderful all around. 9 |

has a very mystique atmosphere, as if she has been sitting there for a very long time and been forgotten. Very good lighting and PP |

kind of cool, but maybe a profile of the model (moving the chair to the side) would work better. |

I'm almost certain I know who the photog is on this one...we'll see if I'm right :-) Gorgeous work with the lighting. I love how the face is hidden and the textures overlap. |

This is a great photo, but I feel the focus is more on the child then it is on the chair. |

Speechless. The 'negative' space should either be more or less, I think, (possibly contain other elements - tricky). 8 for now. |
