its a nice idea but the crop is too tight and the photo itself is out of focus. Keep shooting!

no points

subject and compostion are simple but OK, the over processed look doesnt appeal to me and the focus isnt great.

neat idea but they all seem too out-of-focus

nothing in focus here

doubt this is basic editing

Nice red, but I can't seem to understand the very soft focus treatment. Especially with the grain of the table wood so sharp.

out of focus?
03/07/2007 03:02:12 PM
selective desat doesn't really work for me

The photo is out of focus, the bottom of the pot is cropped away, and it's visible a piece of the table... Try to take care of the background

focus is not quite sharp enough on the apples. but a great idea good luck
03/07/2007 05:20:55 AM
the picture seems blurry

seems blurry, would be stronger if apples were in focus.

The focus is a little soft on this image. Did you sharpen the image after resizing for the challenge? Most people run Unsharp Mask (USM) after resizing. In addition, the selective desaturtion is fairly well done in this image but it really doesn't enhance the composition all that much.

Would have liked to see the Apples more in focus, but I like the comp.
