 All through my childhood I have memories of Christmas,and all the different scents that filled the house such as oranges and apples and the smell of the holly and our Christmas tree, I loved it then and I love it now. This is just a small interpretation of those memories.

Setup is nice but the mistletoe is kind in the way of the left candle.

A bit more light and you'd have a good christmas card picture. Not sure if I get the scents and aromas coming through.

Very good idea and yes it's the holiday smells. The only thing I would suggest is that one or two of the fruits be turned on their side or tilted. Your shot looks a bit stiff. The colors are also dulled by the lighting used. Maybe an odd number of fruit or candles would of added to the interest here.
