Too bad about it not fitting the rules of the "Trees" challenge.
This is a great tree for a photo, with all the texture in the bark and then the bare dead limbs for contrast. It's a real test of lens to shoot into white sky backlight like that, and still get the contrast and exposure in the subject as you have done. The DOF is a good point with this image too, as the focus is good from top to bottom. |

| I love the detail in this. The way you've composed it gives it a sort of ominous form with arms reaching everywhere and a head that's looking away from you. |
