Lucky for the title because it doesn't much convey the feeling of a restaurant. The uniform baaarely gives it away. Looks like he's saying "Thee cheap bastard with thee camera only left two lousy bucks for a teeep...". Received score it deserved.

I can relate to this shot-- For some reason I really think it conveys the smell of a Mexican Restuarant-- I hope other people Get It-- 10

If it wasn't for the title, I'd be stumped! Nice pic.

Erm smelling like money?? wheres the essence of a mexican restaurant? if No "restaurant" is mentioned. it could have been anything.

It's an interesting photo, in an offbeat way. But I find no connection to the challenge. Maybe if you had shown him holding some food instead of cash... !

Unless your waiter had a BO problem, this isn't really the best of choices for the topic.

Interesting image, and his tie is wonderful, but for the challenge it would have helped this viewer if some food were visible...the fact that it is a restaurant is not abundantly clear

The right side of his uniform is blown out. It doesn't make me think of the scent of Mexican food.

Cute candid. I like the smell of mexican food! Wish the focus were a bit sharper on the man, but I like how he is in relation to his colorful surroundings. His white shirt is a bit bright - details washed out.

What did the romans say ? Pecunia non olet, money does not stink. Is that why you photographed the money and not the mexican food ? Image could have been stronger by some more cropping, e.g. removing the bottle, concentrating more of the man counting his money.

Colors are great. Would like to have seen a sizzling fajita or something with Mexican food in it.

Ok, so the title explains it, but showing a mexican counting money next to Mary makes me think of church, not smells.
