 I shot this flower in my kitchen. This was my first attempt at using any "sophisticated" lighting. I attached an old Reflectasol to a floor lamp and tried to illuminate the water droplets in a way that would pick up on the details of the petals and their "metallic" allure.

Shot raw - Only edits were exposure, bright/con, sat, and crop.

Sorry to see that this did not score higher - this is certainly not a pic belonging in the 4.8 range. The shades of red are gorgeous and the drops of water nicely enhance the texture. I think you did a nice job with the lighting!
