 This is one of the roses that was in my shot from the acronym challenge. It's on a piece of glass on top of a black book. A black t-shirt is held in the b/g and a spot light covered in tissue paper is shining from the front right. I'm holding up a piece of white posterboard on the left to keep that side of the rose out of shadow.

This looks more underexposed than like a low key image IMHO.

perhaps a little too dark?
I think you could have had more red showing and still had a good low key image.
