 Bit of a cliche - icecube, model sprayed with water, sidelit with a single wireless flash. Colour temperature set manually all the way down to 2800K for the blue look. Chose this one out of hundreds of takes for the composition and the glow of the icecube.

No editing really, no crop or contrast or brightness modification. Just a resize and a sharpen. Would have liked to have advanced editing to clone the water droplet on the underside of the arm and its shadow, and the distracting hairs on the back of the hand that caught the light... oh well.

Bet there will be a lot of entries with a) nudes, b) icecubes, and c) shifted colour balance, so not at all sure how this will do...

Hi, Greetings from the Critique Club:

Composition: Very strong composition, maybe because it is so simple. The few lines, bend of her wrist, shape of her stomach, all lead the eye directly to the subject ice cube.

Technical: The lighting is perfect on this image, from the light directly on her fingers, to the light on her stomach, to the light that seems to be coming from inside the ice cube.. Very well done. The color temperature give it a very sensual feeling that compliments the subject very well.

Overall: I think you captured the image exactly how you saw it in your minds eye. This is an image you should be very proud of.

Stunning detail, but I'dlike to see more of her breasts. Some detail that included the nipples would have made this better.

Tundra? Isn't that a frozen wasteland where only very small shrubs and moss grow? Looks more like a steamy jungle to me! (wink) Great photo...9
