This is my first submission. I am looking for suggestions on content, exposure, lighting and editing. This was a difficult shot. I tried to get the flames in the fireplace to show up. But as you can see they didn't. The make up was a lame attempt to make his arm look frosted. I am new with Photoshop so i might havee overdone it with some curves and Hue options. I am open to criticism.

A very respectable finish for your first outing.
Maybe you can merge a flame into the fireplace in the advanced edit :D

Cheers!

Interesting shot. I would've liked to have seen more of the beer can in this pic.

Neat idea, I don't get the tie's role though. And if the fireplace had been lit, oh yeah! 6

Beer isn't my favorite subject but you've gotten a pretty creative shot here.

Great title! This is an excellent composition. The diagnol of the models arm leads the eye to the subject. I like the way you have positioned the beer can to mirror your title. A strong entrywith good lighting and focus. I wish there was a way to lose the table :)

Good luck!

nice idea, not so well executed: the silver color is too obvious; there should be frost on the glass and can, too; you should have focused on the hand, glass and can instead of including the irrelevant background and shoulder; the crop at top and right is far too close to the main subjects. the icicle is much too large in relation to the glass
