This is tragic. You were outbrowned by a newbie with natural talent. For what it's worth, I don't think my 10 counted since your picture was the only one I voted on. :D |

wow, this was quite the tribute. i thought the exclusion of the rook was too clever for an actual whiterook photo... |

Odd. Out of focus. If you wanted to do something with the chess pieces in the ice tray, then focus on that as your subject. As it is, it's just clutter. |

Chess pieces in an ice tray? I think there's a statement here, but I can't find it. I think there some ice below that Bishop, too. |

Lack of contrast, highs and lows, and a major focus point. |

mmmmmmmmmm sorry but this has to be the worst shot here, what are you trying to convey, the lighting is poor, focus poor, grain/noise poor, i think you need to head back to the drawing board with this shot and try harder |

where you bringing the ice chess instead of chest? The black pieces would have stood out better |

Coincidence that there is no rook in that set? I think not... no brown for you, rookie, 10 from me! |

Sorry to say but there is a lot to be done here to make this a better photograph.
Including in Basic editing is:
Levels, this can take the grayness away.
NeatImage, this can smoothen the image. |

'Sic Vegetables' is totally right - Great crop. Gotta be Whiterook would be my guess. It's perfectly awful and the Chess pieces are classic. I don't vote lower then 4...sorry. Now close the freezer door...then fruits are startin' to thaw! Take care... |

I think you could have made this with a little more contrast or shadow to bring out the chess pieces more. They seem to recede into the picture instead of being a main focal point. I am not sure HOW I would have done this picture in as small of a space as a freezer, but maybe without the full wattage of the fridge light and maybe a small spot on the chess pieces.... I don't know. I like the idea of the shot... just a litle too washed out for my tastes. Nice thought though! |

I'm not sure what to make of this. Chess pieces in the ice cube tray...might be a decent idea if the photo were just focused on that. As it is, it just seems kind of random. Also, the image is not very sharp. |
