22nd out of 351 and no comments? Weird. Usually you should get at least one or two "Good shot" type of comments anyways.
I like the lighting you've presented here. Its quite subtle. The fade to black on the left of the face is nice as well. This works well for the challenge.
Things to fix? I guess you didn't necessarily need to crop off the top of the head. Then again I am guessing its a self-portrait so it is a little harder to frame the shot perfectly. |

I like it a lot! ... If I was gonna really really nitpick, I think just a tiny tiny tiny bit more light our left on the face would make it totally outstanding!
As for no comments ... MAN ... you know how many pics there have been to vote on in the last couple weeks??? |

p.s. like this picture, I love this picture and thought it was really good but it hardly got any comments...because it is your typical cute picture of a baby |

I think the reason it didn't initially get comments is because this type of portrait was done so much. The execution here is great and the energy of this picture is really neat, but it can also be seen as the typical side light dark portrait. |

OMG I can't believe you placed 23 with no comments!
I think you nailed it. Shadow detail is present, yet not overpowering. Very nice pensive study, with excellent use of negative space. :) |
