| Very nice focus. Lighting is great and the idea is very creative. I like the angle and how the tip of the pencil goes right into the corner of the photo. no distracting glares or shadows. overall very nice. Good luck in the challenge. |

| This picture has a lot of clarity and presents a very clean image. Love the detail in the hair. Good composition. Creative use of the pencil. I love the B&W. 8 Journey |

| Great composition and detail. I don't know what color the pencil is, but it gets kind of lost in the B&W photo. I think using either a black or (maybe even better because of the bright penciltip) a white pencil will give the photo more impact. |

| Beautiful! The composition of this photo is stunning. I love the way the pencil lines up with the strands of hair, and the way the roundness and softness of the child's ear juxtaposes against the hard wood. |

| great capture of detail... This photo alos works well in black and white, even though the pencil loses some of it's contrast. My mind wants to see an eye or something else from the face in this one... but I still love the shot... good work :) = 9 - jmsetzler |
