 Ice "cubes" out of my housemate's ice machine. I let them melt a bit to get the thickness I wanted. Lighting is one halogen desk lamp just off to the right side. I used the correct white balance on the camera but cooled it down a little in Lightroom to give an icy blue tint.

After the RAW conversion just a touch of levels, then resize, sharpen, add border, save for web.

As for natural ice outside, well I'm afraid this challenge missed it by two weeks!
