I really like overall white gleam in the shot but maybe the shadows on the straws lets this down.. If the shadow had been more of an integral part of the pic(like showing up for the glass as well) then it would have looked much better..

Its a wow image, its absolutely wonderful whites all around and the lemon rind is bang on focus. Great work

The lighting generally works well here, although I'm not sure about the straws - they seem to be a bit too dark at the top

The lighting is kind of harsh in the background i wish it was a little darker, but good job, i like the angle

The bands of color on the straws throw this off for me. Perhaps the same thing with clear, straight straws? I think then the lemon would've really stood out as a focal point of color. I like the composition.
