 he's ten now, but when he was young, he could maintain 40k/hour for over a kilometre, and barely be winded.

Christian, this photo REALLY captures the essense of the subtle menace / conflicting beauty I often see in your photos. This dog could be interpreted as a happy pet jumping, or a rabid dog coming after you. Either way, you made a pet portrait interesting, for which I staunchly commend you!!

Awwww.. ..he sure doesn't look 10! This is so awesome. He looks almost 3-dimensional -- like he's super-imposed on that snow, he stands out so much. What a great stop action.

Pouncing dog! Very cool colors. I like the blur around the edges to accentuate the dog in the middle. Beautiful shot.
