 Ol' pond bird in a ditch. I thought it make an ok pic, so I pushed the button. Sharpened some, as it was a tad blurry from hand held, and the bird was striking at something in the water. The other two reflections are birds standing on the bank behind this one.
Zoom at 130mm. Hand held. Basic edit with iPhoto.

Oh very nice! The blur doesn't really bother me, as the graceful lines of composition make up for everything else.

Nice shot Waddy.

I think I would have been tempted (personally) to remove the background completely and maybe just keep the one reflection . .

But that's only a personal taste :- )

Good job with a handheld zoom shot, and nicely composed and processed. I really like the overall feel of this one rather than any one element. The darkness draws you right to the light of the bird. Nicely done!

What a lovely shot, I was trying desperately to photo some wading birds, that looked very similar to this, over the weekend. I couldn't get close to them however because they were in the middle of an area notorious for quicksand. I am quickly discovering the limitations of the lense I have!!
