 Yes, my dog hates taking baths and now he officially hates me too. He stood there frozen like this for like 10 minutes while I snapped away. Total humiliation....poor Maddux. But he was greatly rewarded with many of his favorite treats in the end. :)

I wish there was somebody around to take photos of me trying to get him into the tub. Now that was funny!! He's got to weigh close to 100 lbs and he REALLY didn't want to get in. What was even funnier was when he jumped out right after I got all the bubbles perfect but before I could get any pictures. And we had to start the whole "Get back in the tub" thing over again but this time with a wet, slippery, heavy, legs spread all out, non willing participant. Poor, poor puppy.... :)

My original plan was to do this with the cat, but he soooooo wasn't havin' it.

- Auto levels, auto contrast, auto color
- converted to B&W
- Curves adjustment
- brightness/contrast adjustment
- resized, USM, added border

Totally gorgeous! Poor poor Maddux! Bailey gets THAT look on her face in the tub too. I think a video of you taking the shot would be a best seller too LOL

Ohmygosh! This is absolutely PRECIOUS!!!!!!! Maddux reminds me of my Milly, she's part Dachshund, and the sad, but oh-so-loyal and obedient look in Maddux's eyes remind me so much of her. I LOVE this photo. I want it to be a ribbon winner :(

I'll just have to add it to my favorites :)

LOL!! Oh dear, you have me laughing so hard reading your description (and the shot makes me laugh in the first place!) I'd have DARED you to bathe a cat. That so just doesn't work. But I understand the issues of dogs and tubs, too. I really do wish there had been a video camera recording this shoot. It would be a huge hit! Great shot and congrats on getting Maddux to play along, however reluctantly!

Aww! Poor thing. :) This is a wonderful idea, and the lighting and focus is perfect. The only thing I might change is the composition a little bit... The black thingy in the left upper corner is a bit confusing. Otherwise, fabulous shot!

This dog is absolutely adorable! I love how you were able to capture the dog looking at the camera. The ranges of blacks and whites are also very good.
