I took this outside on a really cloudy day and didn't realize that the sun was behind Taryn while we were doing this, then looked down to realize that it was sillhouetting her which I ended up LOVING and I just told her to mess with her horse and do whatever until I got a pose that looked right. I loved the simplicity of this one and the connection of the lines. The highs and lows of the clouds in the background gave a really nice touch also. All I did for editing was mess with the contrast and desaturate it a little bit. I also cropped out a couple limbs of a tree that pulled away from the central focus

Greetings from the Critic club.

First off I love the feelings that this entry portrays. I like the sillhouetting that has occured with the exposure. I'm not sure I wouldnt have tried to get just a touch of detail in the shot though. Perhaps tried a second curtain flash with it turned way down, so that they sky doesnt change but you get a little detail in it. I'm not sure how it would have turned out if it had at all. But just trying to find a suggestion that might help improve a really good photo already. Congrats on your 6+ score and good luck in future challenges.

Great silhouettes. The sky is a little dark and dull, but the pose makes up for it. Nice job!

Very nice.. You've picked a great angle to capture this silhouette. I like how there is just a little bit of space between them almost the whole way around so that you can clearly see both of them, yet the poses really give that feeling of love.

A little too dark maybe - if the sky could be lightened one stop it may help?

I really love the naturalness of the shot, the background, and the details you can see in the hair on the horse and girl.

this is a great image ... love that you can see the details in the girl's hair along with the horse's whiskers ... the clouds really set the mood ...
