 Took this late Tuesday afternoon after being bored out of my skull with the rose shot I had in for the Love challenge. Tried this with cigarettes and cigars. I never smoked cigarettes - and it is obvious by the way I hold them. So I went with the cigar. Taken in my garage with my Pedro influenced ring light and only 3 bulbs turned on.

RAW conversion, saturation adjustment layer to tone down the colors, USM, NI and a selective color layer to primarily bring out the shadows. What an awesome tool selective colors can be.

Also my first entry using our new 30D.

Poooooooooooooooooooo.....what's that smell. Hehehehe...it's okay Timmy...I don't mind the odd cigar...I am just not allowed them.

this would've been stronger if you were sitting in the garage or something...you know...wife kicks you to the garage when you want to smoke a cigar.
