excellent idea, poor execution. sorry.. but a lot more work on this shot with lighting, etc could make this a ribbon winner becasue the idea is so good. nice take on the heart in a book shot.

I really like this idea (the symbolism of the holding hands) and the low key lighting you chose (the ring shadow is cool). The only thing is the focus on the ring. If that were sharper with perhaps a glint of light from the stone it would be very lovely! Still, props for the great idea and effort.

nicely exicuted! It's cheesey, but still cool. :-) the heart shadow and "floating" ring are cool, and the hands fading into the shadows is a nice detail that makes the ring pop.

Very nice idea. My only big critique is in the focus and also in the quality of the image. It seems very fuzzy and grainy.

Nice idea with the ring shadow creating the heart in the palms, and I like the focused lighting. Overall the shot is a bit soft/blurry though. If this wasn't taken with a tripod and timer/remote due to the low lighting, that would be my suggestion.

The heart shape and the lighting are lovely. Unfortunately, it's very blurry. I think it'd be much stronger with either just the ring sharp or the ring and the hands sharp.
