Wow - you make rotten pears look like gold, the Midas touch!

I really like the toning of this series and also the slight reflection from the service. I like the composition best of all on this one.

Very neat - the impact on first view is quite high for me. I might agree with the others' comments about this being made better by a full depth of field. I'm not so concerned with the apparent cant (the background appearing unlevel). I think it adds a certain amount of character. This is not a landscape after all. Personally, I also think this would have benefitted from a more centered composition actually. Nicely done overall though.

This is a really nice image. I'm probably not the most-qualified to critique it, but I'll give it a whirl.

The first thing that jumps out at me is the rich contrast. Although there may be some clipping in the blacks, I think it works here against the soft white background. The sharpness is great in the center, but I would have preferred the edges be a tad sharper, but this is just personal preference. The texturing is great as well. The only other thing I would nitpick would be the image seems to tilt JUST slightly to the right.

All in all, you made an ordinary subject stand out. Great job. :)

I really like your processing in this series, but IMNSHO I think your DOF could be deeper -- the pears go out of focus too soon toward the "back" of the shot. Great tones.
