Greetings from the Critique Club!

I commented on the shot during the challenge but let's see if I can be more specific and helpful.

This is a wonderful shot and fits the challenge very well, the only thing that would have made it more so is if you could have caught some birds in the shot but the airplane weather vane is a nice substitute.

The colors of the sky are very well done, if there were no adjustments to them I would say it's a very nice capture and you have some wonderful sunsets. The clarity is lacking overall on the shot to mee, just a bit too blurry all the way around. If the plane and building had been sharper I think it would have helped this shot a great deal. Also the cropping could be just a tad tighter on the left to me taking some of the blue out and leaving the yellows, pinks and oranges.

The letters being reversed still get to me for some reason, it's a minor detail but something that is quite noticable. You have a wonderful eye for the overall scene here and I look forward to seeing more of your work in the future! YOu will be one to watch!

Good Luck In Future Challenges!

A good idea overall but the execution of the shot left me wanting. I love the sky, the colors but the clarity and the reversal of the letters leaves me wanting. I understand you wouldn't have gotten the same backdrop coming from the other side but this way it almost looks like the picture was flipped over. A 5

Good composition, nice colors, slightly soft but I think that goes with the mellow feeling of the scene. One suggestions, though, is to have flipped the image so the letters N and S are the right way around. The plane would still be flying to the south, but the viewer's eyes wouldnt be drawn so much to the backward letters.

nice silouette, great sky. too bad the "s" is backwards (could you flip the image?) Could it be a bit sharper?

Interesting sunset, but doesn't really strike me as a literalistic interpretation. Maybe pointing south.

contrast needs to be boosted, its a little washed out. Lovely colors

a bit more contrast would have helped.

you captured beautiful colors. I know those sunrise, sunset shots can be tough because of the contrast and the limited time you have to work with the lighting. However, the brightness/contrast adjustments seem too harsh to me.
