 Ka'ron Barnes, star basketball player at Cornell University. I HATE the thing sticking out of his head... it drives me insane... otherwise I love this photo :-) soon to be the front cover of the basketball issue. :-)

I don't know what that means,, but assume you've depicted it.... The pole coming out of his head is a minor flaw. A bit bright on his nose and forehead. 6

.. use the word 'game' loosely.. basketball sucks.. and people take it too seriously.. this guy doesn't look like he's in it for fun..

Nice portrait- nicely fits the challenge. I love how this guy is trying so hard to look mean, and probably broke out laughing soon after the shot!

Never heard the expression, but happy to believe in it. Cool photo - excellently lit, composed. Captured some meanness, and some dynamic (the shading around the eyes is masterful. There've been some real gems in this chllenge, and this is one of the top six for me. Good luck.
