There was no way I could get what they were shooting in the photo, which was a gay/lesbian marriage ceremony/protest. I agree the processing sucks. These are a couple more photos from that same day:

sometimes it's best not to show what everyone is looking at. it creates interest and mystery. i guarantee alot of people were wondering what these people were taking pictures of. I know i did...good job... ; )

To yanko - I still stand by my comment, to me this shot is really boring, something I've seen many times before, and without a twist. But that's just MHO. I like one of your outtakes a bit more, though, it offers an unusual perspective:

This reminds me of a dpc GTG :) I sure like the way you processed this to make everything pop and look 3-dimensional.

I so disagree with agenkin too. . .and I disagree with anyone who is rude when leaving comments. . .Boooooooo to Agenkin!!!!

Perhaps I didn't shoot this all that well and certainly not as well as you would have liked. However I don't recall seeing another photo like this in the challenge so maybe it's not as cliche as you thought? FWIW, I did try to be different, a lot that got me.

LOL! Good choice for the challenge. I like all the different "shooters" and their stances and poses. And it makes me wonder what the heck they're shooting!

nice composition though the tited horizon makes it look better and natural in this case

great shot, may be a little over sharpened (leaves and white "glow" around edges)? Also straightening could help to make it a real good picture

Makes me wonder what they are all photographing! Those buildings in the right background have quite a tilt!

Whats everybody looking at?!? Really like your idea here, the clarity and sharpness on the other photographers is right on. Very nice composition and a great idea. Nice work.
