 Took shot by adjusting sharpness to maximum, and reducing contrast to -2. Used standard dro, daylight +1 white balance. Used manual program, center weighted metering and 60 mm focal length. Resized and changed resolution to 41. Sharpened and saved for web using 25% compression and 146 kb

This is a classically beautiful image. The beautiful time of day with the soft light and long shadows, the beautiful birches, and the split rail fence all come together like a Robert Frost poem.

I don't know why you were surprised - this is perfectly lovely! Excellent lines and balance, and the lighting is wonderful. Really a good shot!

I did not believe this score. I thought for sure it would end up at around 30% or less. I was so amazed when I looked.

I like the fallen down fence slat. this would really be great in BW with adjusted contrast but for this challenge - can't do that.
