| Something looks "gritty" here, and I'm a big fan of that. If it is intentional, it needs to be a little more gritty to make intent obvious. If it's NOT intentional, maybe it should be :) 8 |

| Simple concept, pretty well executed. Cropping it so that more of the flute and less of the table was in view may help. |

| You have a good idea, but I think you needed to be either closer or further away. I would have chosen a closer crop with better detail. Your lighting is a bit flat. You might try a couple of sources from different directions to bring out the highlights and reduce shadows. |

| Wow what a magnificent instrument!!! Want to swap? Mine's old, and battered...Hope you're still playing! Nice diagonals in this composition and I like the crop. |
