 This went in the challenge last minute so I didn't have a chance to add the details.

The night of the final submission date, I mentioned that I wanted to do something like this at dinner. After dinner, my children went to work and created these very clever characters. We ended up with more characters than we actually needed. These were done by my daughter, Ariel, a very talented artist.

I would have liked to have a better transition in the construction paper floor to background, but given the last minute nature, it just wasn't possible.

I did play with editing a bit afterwards, and created this very quick pass at an advanced editing alternate where I blurred the background and fixed the floor:

congratulations - this photograph contains a fruit and/or a vegetable, therefore it meets the challenge! well done!

that's rather odd ... a lot of effort too! i think the background is not working for the shot. especially with the yellow floor. 6!
