| One thing I think is important in these types of shots is to bring out texture or pattern in the fruit. By backlighting a slice of fruit, you can make the image more dramatic. Another technique I like to use is a contrasting background, as I did in a couple of my challenge images. I think that in this image, the lemon flesh itself does not show up that well and kind of blends into the background. Maybe even a different angle of the light would improve this. Good effort, keep it up! |
