I'm not an expert on splash shots/heck, i'm not even an amateur ;) but a couple of things strike me.
One--See if you can light more from the side...possibly by bouncing your flash of of a white posterboard. I may be wrong but it looks like the flash is straight on. More side lighting will give a pleasing dimension to your shadows. Also looks as if it could have been bumped in exposure a bit.
I do like the series of bubbles radiating around the top of the lime. With just a touch more focus the picture would really pop! I think these shots are harder than they first appear. mark |

I think a splash shot needs to show the suface of the water and the splash. This looks more like the lime is suspended in the water. |

The color here is a bit "dull". Focus on the front water drops is good. Maybe increase your DOF a bit. Bump the contrast a touch and this might pop a bit more. Nice job getting the shot! |
